The festival Live reef – that will be held in September and October in the Canarian town that gives it name – continues to add names to the poster of its next edition. Among the most recent is Fermin Muguruza.
Live reefCanarian Festival recently recognized as the Festival with the best cultural programming in Spain at the International Iberian Festival Awards, continues to add names to its programming.
Reef live, in addition, it is an unusual festival. The public moves from “concert in concert in a two -kilometer pedestrian traffickers that runs through the historic center of the port city and that connects the four scenarios of the festival, all of them with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop: an islet of the bay, a sea park, a sports port and a cruise spring.” In this way, the public can go from one concert to another, which in total will be more than thirty free actions – with some payment – during the Friday, September 19 and 26 and October 3 and 10.

The intention of live Arrecife is to democratize access to culture, strengthen the community of the multicultural Canarian city and convert public space “into a place that arouses empathy, creativity and critical thinking.” Hence, talks and debates are also included in the programming, as well as gastronomic activities, and so on.
