It will be the first time that Kexp will transmit concerts from our country, within its series Live on kexp. It will be through collaboration with Bime Bilbaoamong the October 28 and 31.
Kexp is an international community of lovers and music creators, in addition to a non -profit artistic organization that encourages the construction of relationships and community through radio, digital environment and live musical programming. For a few years, Kexp focuses on giving visibility to music from different countries, musical styles and traditions.
Thus, the historical one Church of the incarnation –Cnructured in 1499– will become the perfect setting to host four days of live performances that will be recorded and filmed between October 28 and 31 to be subsequently shared with audiences around the world through the usual platforms.
This is the first collaboration of this type in our country, which underlines the weight of Spanish and Latin American music in the international music scene, while underlines the importance of Bime – both in its edition of Bilbao as in Bogotá – in the projection of our music and internationalization between Europe and America.
But let’s focus on the names that will act in this collaboration. The first batch of confirmed artists in this live on kexp bime Bilbao are Los Punsetes, Bizarro love triangle, Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba, Sound Depression, Gray Merina, Aiko The Group, Queralt Lahoz, Alcalá Norte, Rosario la Tremendita, Roy Borland and the Chilean Javiera Electra.
The Bime initiative also has the support of Sounds from Spain, the Ministry of Culture, Icex, AIE and Basque Music.
