There is no more news about Madonna’s next album, the second part of ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’. If it’s any clue, ‘Hung Up’ will turn 20 next week. Meanwhile, the artist resumes her relationship with Warner by publishing the first of the reissues that were announced 4 years ago, when it was thought that a biopic about Madonna was on the way.
On November 28, an album called ‘Bedtime Stories: The Untold Chapter’ will be released, which Madonna even promoted on her Instagram. The original album turned 30 just a year ago and included the megahit ‘Take a Bow’, the single ‘Secret’, the artist’s personal favorite ‘Human Nature’ and the collaboration with Björk ‘Bedtime Story’.
Stuart Price has been responsible for restoring these songs from Warner’s archives. The album does not include the demo of ‘Rather Be Your Lover’ with 2PAC, and instead includes a song never heard by anyone or leaked called ‘Right on Time’, which is released today.
The album includes remixes and unknown demos, but not the expected Shep Pettibone demos. It seems that this project has been delayed due to rights problems with the heirs of 2PAC: does anyone prefer that the collaboration is lying in a bad way on YouTube, for 15 years, without anyone bothering to delete it?
There will also be a double CD including ‘Bedtime Stories’ and this ‘The Untold Chapter’. In addition, this Friday, October 10, the physical edition of the remix album ‘Veronica Electronica’ also arrives.
