Lil Nas X’s Correct Jersey Club Credits a Daft Punk

This year, the notorious failure of ‘J CHRIST’ has led Lil Nas X to abort the release of his second album. Now, Montero begins a new era, that of a new work called ‘Dreamboy’, which has begun – of course – with controversy due to apparent plagiarism from Sega Bodega.

‘LIGHT AGAIN!’, the first single from ‘Dreamboy’, is not such a controversial song. Its rhythmic base, inspired by the Jersey Club, points to a current trend, and the song is correct. The most interesting thing that can be said about it is that it includes a credit from Thomas Bangalter, one of the two members of Daft Punk.

Daft Punk, as a group, has collaborated very little with other artists, and their latest collaborations have been with The Weeknd and Parcels. However, its separate members have made their first steps here and there. Bangalter participated as a producer on Arcade Fire’s album ‘Everything Now’, although that was six years ago. Lately, especially, he has published soundtracks.
