Lil Nas X releases “Light Again”, produced by Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk)

Lil Nas X is back with “Light Again”, a new Jersey Club-inspired rhythm-based single produced by none other than Thomas Bangalter of daft punk.

Together with him, the production is signed Take A Daytrip, Omer Fedi and Jasper Harris.

The song is accompanied by a video directed by Andrew Donoho in which we see Montero as the most animated of the university students at a party in the purest style of American brotherhoods. In the video, he seems to announce what would be his second full-length, “Dreamboy”, after this year he decided to abort what was going to be his second LP –“J Christ”– due to the poor reception of his homonymous single.

The song marks Lil Nas X’s return to club sounds after presenting the single “He Knows” with Camila Cabello at the beginning of the year. It is expected that his next album, for which we still do not have a release date, will continue to use more house elements than we are accustomed to.
