Lil Nas X announces album and Sega Bodega accuses him of plagiarism

Lil Nas He already had to apologize for promoting ‘J CHRIST’, his comeback single, although you probably don’t even remember. The ‘MONTERO’ singer has announced that a new single titled ‘Light Again’ will be released this Friday, which in turn will be part of an album called ‘Dreamboy’. The problem comes with the album cover, clearly inspired by Sega Bodega.

The similarities with the cover of the 2021 single ‘Angel On My Shoulder’ are evident at first glance. The Irish singer himself has responded to Lil Nas The single belongs to the album ‘Romeo’, released three years ago.

Until comments began to pour in pointing out the similarities, Lil Nas X did not say anything about the inspiration for the cover. His latest Instagram Story is about the cover of Sega Bodega and a single large word: “Reference.” Clearly, he hadn’t consulted with the Irishman before making the cover.
