Liberty DAC is Mytek’s latest general purpose USB2 PCM/MQA/DSD DAC, designed for high-quality music playback and monitoring of all digital audio formats, including high-resolution formats. This DAC features multiple digital inputs, digital volume control, and balanced and unbalanced audio outputs, as well as a high-performance headphone amplifier. Designed like its smaller brother, the Brooklyn DAC, the Liberty DAC offers robust performance in a small enclosure, just one-third the normal size.

External power supply options
Mytek Liberty DAC (also Brooklyn DAC and ADC) is equipped with an input for external 12VDC power supply. An improvement in sound quality (particularly in the deeper bass and soundstage) can be seen when using a larger power supply. To see the effect, the power supply must be substantially larger (5 to 10 times) than the internal 30W power supply.
