Liam Gallagherthe well-known vocalist of Oasis has received the award “Strike The Right Chord For Animals” from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) for adopting Buttons, a dog from a sanctuary in Thailand who was abandoned by his owners. To that we must add that it has also helped raise £25,000 for the Thai charity foundation Happy Doggo.
“Thank you for the award. Rescuing Buttons has been the best decision we have made. She brings so much happiness to our lives and to everyone she knows. We are very lucky to have her,” was the member’s response. Oasis upon receiving the award, to which he added that he fully recommends adopting a dog.
In addition, Gallagher has stressed that there are thousands of cases of abandoned dogs also in the United Kingdom, which is why adoption is always recommended.
