Lia Kali has been nominated for the prestigious Music Moves Europe Awards 2026, one of the most recognized European awards for new talent.
The Music Moves Europe Awards 2026 have already announced the fifteen names of artists who have a nomination for this edition. They represent the freshest, most innovative and most promising of the European music scene: new sounds, limitless creativity and an energy that crosses borders.
The names were announced during the SoAlive Music Conference & Festival, held in Sofia (Bulgaria). The nominees for this edition are: Anna Lille (Norway), Camille Yembe (Belgium), Carpetman (Ukraine), Della (Cyprus), DITTER (France), Fine (Denmark), florence road (Ireland), Glazyhaze (Italy), Lia Kali (Spain), Lunikk (Bulgaria), Melina (Greece), Might Delete Later (Latvia), Ray Lozano (Germany), Sarah Julia (Netherlands) and Sofie Royer (Austria).
Over the last two decades, the awards have recognized established figures such as Judeline, Zaho de Sagazan, Stromae, Alyona Alyona, Rosalía, Meduza, Dua Lipa, Sans Soucis, Hozier either Christine and the Queens.
The winners will be selected by an international jury made up of Jess Iszatt (BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing), Filip Košťálek (Colours of Ostrava), Kenza Naaïmi El Fezzazi (French-Moroccan journalist for Red Bulletin and FIP), Annika Walsh (Spotify) and the Spanish Judeline, winner of the Public Choice Award 2025.
The award ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 during the festival ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) in Groningen (Netherlands)). Seven awards in total will be awarded: five MME Awards, one Grand Jury Prize and one Audience Award. Each winner will receive 10,000 euros, while the Grand Prize winner will also obtain a sustainable bonus of 5,000 euros for tours. The Audience Award is worth 5,000 euros.
