Lia Kali has been distinguished in the Music Moves Europe Awards with the Grand Jury Prize and, furthermore, with the Audience Award.
The winners of the Music Moves Europe Awards were officially announced during a ceremony held last January 15 in Groningenin which Lia Kali has been honored with two awards. The artist received the Grand Jury Prizecomposed of composed of Jess Iszatt (BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing), Filip Košťálek (Colours of Ostrava), Kenza Naaïmi El Fezzazi (French-Moroccan journalist for Red Bulletin and FIP), Annika Walsh (Spotify) and the Spanish Judeline, winner of the Public Choice Award 2025. He also received the Audience Awardawarded by music fans from all over Europe. The other award-winning artists were Camille Yembe (Belgium), Carpetman (Ukraine), Della (Cyprus), Sarah Julia (Netherlands) and Sofie Royer (Austria).
Over the last two decades, the awards have recognized established figures such as Judeline, Zaho de Sagazan, Stromae, Alyona Alyona, Rosalía, Meduza, Dua Lipa, Queralt Lahoz, Sans Soucis, Hozier or Christine And The Queens. The Music Moves Europe Awards represent the freshest, most innovative and promising of the European music scene: new sounds, limitless creativity and an energy that crosses borders.
At the same time, the Catalan has starred in a new installment of Red Bull Track Takeover next to marquitoswhere he has transformed the song “CURSIII” into an unreleased version. Previously, the one from Parla covered “Against All Pronunciation”, taking the song to his field. Both versions are now available on Red Bull’s YouTube channel.
