Carlangas and Los Cubatas They invite us to enjoy “Mucho con poco”, a song in which guitars, saxes and dance music intertwine perfectly in an ode to the little things.
Carlangas and Los Cubatas They return to the Galician's dance punk roots in their new single, “Mucho con poco”. Guitars, saxophones and dance music intertwine perfectly in a song with acidic and direct lyrics, which reminds us of the energy of the first albums of Carminha News and references of dance punk New Yorker like LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture either Lizzy Mercier Descloux.
“I have a lot with little,” proclaims the band in this funk ode to the little things in life, to the happiness of everyday and simple moments. You don't need grandiose or excessive plans, just good company, a desire to enjoy and, of course, good music. Because the new theme already says so Carlangas and the Cubatas: “The things we like don't cost a penny; the street is free; gora Eskorbuto.”
A new preview of what we can find in “Ballodrome vol.1”an album that will be released in 2024 full of rhythms inspired by the soundsystem Jamaican music, disco clubs, raves, punk and hip hop cassettes. Bailódromo is getting romantic; It's fast, fun and sexy like motocross; It's a punk band making dance music.
