After five years since his previous recording movement, Le Parody returns with a single titled “Virtudes”. The song serves as a preview of “Remedies”.
Le Parody has always directed its career outside the dictates of the industry and letting itself be carried away exclusively by its concerns. Hence, five years have passed since his previous album. But that period of calm will soon end with the October launch of “Remedies”their new full-length.
Now he has just released “Virtudes”, a song that anticipates what we will find on the album and for which he once again has the collaboration of Puttaneska. In the theme, a combination of roots, pop and electronica, Le Parody lends a hand to those women who history and popular culture labeled as crazy when they were simply revolutionary. Her greatest achievement is “dressing her in pop. The perfect Trojan horse.”
“Virtudes” goes through different phases, ranging from calm electronics to brass, which have been produced by the Brazilian Kiko Dinucci (Metá Metá, Passo Torto…), passing through the castanets and some choruses that get inside you.
In the video clip, produced by The studyLe Parody “emulates a recontextualized Nemesis, goddess of justice and revenge. The figure of Nemesis emerges from the greenery of nature to enter the arid desert, also beginning the audiovisual work that will be revealed throughout the advances of the album”.
