LCD Soundsystem officially share “X-Ray Eyes”

James Murphy has finally shared “X-Ray Eyes”, the song that could be heard as a preview in a program a few days ago. It represents the return in study of LCD Soundsystemalthough at the moment there is no specific date for a new album.

LCD Soundsystem will be one of the main headliners at the next edition of Barcelona’s Primavera Sound, and it is assumed that not only will this new “X-Ray Eyes” be played there, but also many other new pieces by Murphy and his band.

Now, at the moment the song is not a preview of the possible new album on which James Murphy has confirmed that he is still working and for which there is no specific release date. In any case, after playing as a preview on NTS Radio a few days ago, we can now officially listen to the song on platforms.

“X-Ray Eyes” follows in the wake of “New Body Rhumba”, the song that LCD Soundsystem included in 2022 on the film’s soundtrack “White Noise” (Noah Baumbach, 22). The song will also appear in physical format on a limited edition twelve-inch vinyl with a remix (“Trash Can Dub Remix”) as the B-side. It will be sold at the group’s concerts and also at the DFA Records official website.

Apart from their participation in the upcoming Primavera Sound in Barcelona, ​​LCD Soundsystem will be performing for twelve dates at the Knockdown Center in New York between November and December of this year.
