“Last Rites”, Ozzy Osbourne’s latest memoirs, arrive in Spain

Completed before his death, “Last Rites” details the last years of life of Ozzy Osbourne before his death last July.

After finishing his farewell concert on July 5, the singer announced his new memoirs, “Last Rites”, which will be published on next January 8 in Spain. The book will focus on the various health problems and ailments that the artist suffered during the last seven years, and that precipitated his decision to permanently leave concerts. His more personal side will also be present, with reflections on his marriage with Sharon Osbourne or the preparation of his farewell concert with Black Sabbath. Additionally, it will include stories with rock legends such as Slash, Bon Scott, John Bonham and Keith Moonand the story of the last moments he spent with Lemmy Kilmister of Motörheadwho died in 2015.

Himself Osbourne said the following about the book: “People say to me, ‘If you could start over, knowing what you know now, would you change anything? And I say, ‘No way. If I had been sober and clean, I wouldn’t be Ozzy. If I had done normal, sensible things, I wouldn’t be Ozzy. Look, if it’s over tomorrow, I can’t complain. I’ve traveled all over the world. I’ve seen a lot of things. I’ve met some great people. I’ve done well. I’ve done well.’ bad. But right now, I’m not ready to go anywhere.”

The artist’s farewell show, “Back To The Beginning“, took place last July 5 in Birmingham, England.
