The state circuit of popular music Touring Salas (GPS) He launched his sixteenth call a few weeks ago, #GPS16which will be open, for bands and soloists, to the Tuesday, September 30 (18: 00h).
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CIRCUIT Touring Salas (GPS) It is to support emerging artists of all styles, both soloists and bands, offering aid for the celebration of concerts within the Salas Circuit throughout the Spanish territory as the promotion of the most living expression of popular music. These concerts will be held outside the Autonomous Community of residence of each artist or a minimum of 300 km within it. With this, we want to strengthen the new musical talents and their dissemination beyond their field of natural influence, as well as encourage their professionalization. Also, artists will receive help for the production and record promotion of their works by enhancing with all this the record production and stability of the live music rooms circuit.
Among the bands that have passed through previous editions of touring Salas are: Sidecars, Bizarro love triangle, Izal, Viva Sweden, Morgan, La Fasha, Antonio Lizana, Rufus t Firefly, the well -dear, Maruja Limón, Varry Brava, Sexy Zebras, Rayden, Carlos Sadness, Miss Caffeina, Cycle, the Kanka, Alice Wonder, The Pond Birds, Izaro, Queralt Lahoz, Nat Simons, Lady Banana, Marilia Monzón, El Nido or Shegoamong many others.
On the other hand, the call for Salas will open at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1 and will close at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Touring Salas is an initiative of the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), the Coordinating Federation of the Popular Music Circuit (FCMP) being collaborating entity. The Federation consists of the following professional associations: Access (State Association of Live Music Salas), APM (Association of Musical Promoters), ARC (Association of Represents, Promotors I Managers of Catalonia), Art (Association of Technical Representatives of the show), Musicat (Association Profession (Independent Phonographic Union)
IMPORTANT: From this edition, the band or soloist must provide in the registration process a “record, promotional and tour launch plan” in which the next record launch plans and those actions that intend to develop with the GPS16 aid are detailed.
34 artists (bands and soloists) will be selected among all those requests received that meet the requirements and a calendar will be developed in coordination with the rooms and the selected artists, with a minimum of six concerts for each artist, which will take place between December 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026, inclusive. The selected ones will also be granted a help for record production and promotion.
