Lana Del Rey has announced “The Right Person Will Stay”their long-awaited new album that will be released in spring, And we will have to see if it really is a country-oriented album or not.
The artist announced her tenth album via Instagram, the continuation of “Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” (23), which will be released on May 21, 2025. The singer previously announced that in this new album she would dominate country music and that it would feature the usual collaboration of Jack Antonoff, of Luke Laird and Drew Erickson
Del Rey spoke about the album suggesting that the lyrics might be lighter than his most recent output “Maybe I have less to say in terms of self-revealing stuff like on “Tunnel” or “Blue Bannisters” or “Chemtrails Over The Country Club.” , and just more melodic,” he said. “Maybe more in the style of “American Songbook”?”
Since then, the album’s sound and its release date have been the subject of speculation. Del Rey had previously said that the project would arrive at the end of this year, but in October Del Rey addressed the ongoing wait for the project, saying he’s following his instincts after feeling an “energetic pause.”
