Lady Gaga visits La Paloma in Barcelona… and Florence covers it

Lady Gaga has started her round of concerts in Barcelona this week; He performed on Tuesday, Wednesday and today, Friday, he celebrates his Halloween concert, in which surprises are expected, since the entire ‘Mayhem’ and ‘Dead Dance’ era is inspired by terror.

On Thursday, her day off, Gaga visited La Paloma, the legendary Raval nightclub, to attend a private YouTube Halloween party. There, Gaga – who was wearing a “dove” headdress – danced ‘Abracadabra’ and soaked up the cries of “and pretty, and pretty, and queen, and queen”, also heard at her concerts this week.

Known for being the oldest nightclub in Europe, La Paloma reopened at the end of 2024, after having closed in 2006 due to noise problems.

The queens of La Paloma present at the Youtube party with Gaga come from the Pluma BCN party; JENESAISPOP spoke with its organizers months ago.

‘Abracadabra’, on the other hand, has been in the news again this week because Florence + the Machine have covered it on the radio, fusing it with their own song ‘Which Witch’ (2015). Of course, Gaga and Florence are old acquaintances, as they collaborated on ‘Hey Girl’ (2016). Florence releases new album today, ‘Everybody Scream’.
