Lady Gaga fights with herself in terrifying 'Disease' video

Lady Gaga, confirmed in season 2 of ‘Wednesday’

A montage of Jenna Ortega dancing to Lady Gaga’s ‘Bloody Mary’ in ‘Wednesday’, the Netflix series, made this deep cut of ‘Born this Way’ (2011) go viral in a big way a couple of seasons ago, leading the topic to enter on official lists. In the real scene, Ortega – or Miércoles, his character – danced to ‘Goo Goo Muck’ by the Cramps, but the edit with ‘Bloody Mary’ worked like a charm.

The success of ‘Bloody Mary’ has ended up very evidently inspiring the sound of Lady Gaga’s new single, ‘Disease’, released on Halloween.

Now, EW Entertainment confirms that Lady Gaga will be part of the second season of ‘Wednesday’. Gaga is in Europe filming at the moment, and this is all that is known about her participation in the spin-off of ‘The Addams Family’ that has catapulted Ortega’s career, recently involved in Sabrina Carpenter’s gore video clip.

Meanwhile, the commercial performance of ‘Disease’ on the charts is being very modest: the song already appears outside the top 100 of Spotify Global, at 103. In recent days, Gaga has given some life to ‘Disease’ by releasing an acoustic version of the song he has called ‘The Antidote’. Previously, she had uploaded a cute TikTok in which she appeared transforming from “Lady” to “Gaga” to the rhythm of the song.

Gaga, yes, remains glued like a limpet to Spotify’s global number 1 with ‘Die with a Smile’, her romantic duet with Bruno Mars, which has just given the musical couple a pair of Grammy nominations, in the categories for Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Duo.
