The Plazuela have released “Tiempos Raros”, a new single that consolidates its role as one of the most innovative proposals on the current scene.
La Plazuela releases “Tiempos Raros”, a new single that explores those moments when nothing seems to fit within oneself. It is a song that looks squarely at confusion, uncertainty and that feeling of strangeness that sometimes accompanies personal growth.
But it also speaks of the moment in which the right questions begin to appear, those that, although uncomfortable, mark the path towards change and self-discovery.
In this release, the Granada duo once again expands the limits of their creative universe. “Tiempos Raros” combines jazz harmonies with jungle rhythms and nods to Japanese city pop, building a hybrid, modern and deeply evocative sound.
Within this surprising mix, the chorus recovers a melody from the legendary “Oh Mon Amour” by José el Francés, published in 1994. More than thirty years later, that melody is reborn, reinterpreted through La Plazuela’s own language.
“Rare Times” is, in essence, a musical reflection on a strange and revealing time in life. A song that breathes doubts, impulses and clarity. A journey from confusion to transformation.
With this new single, La Plazuela consolidates its role as one of the most innovative proposals on the current scene, capable of uniting roots, experimentation and avant-garde, always maintaining its own unmistakable seal.
