The Dove face a stunt contest in the video clip for their new single, “Un Esfuerzo Honesto.” In it they find themselves, with a cameo by Fran Perea in between.
The video clip for “Un Esfuerzo Honesto”, the new single from the Madrid-based band, brings together “imitators, reasonable resemblances and alternative versions of the group in a competition as absurd as it is pertinent: finding the best La Paloma possible.” And therein lies the joke, when we see that Fran Perea, singer and actor, appears among the protagonists with a nice cameo.
As if there weren’t enough, “An Honest Effort” the lyrics feature a quote from that classic of American literature that is “What do we talk about when we talk about love” of Raymond Carver.
For this new song, the band has trusted Lalo GV production and mixing, with a recording made in the studios Alamo Shock. The visual universe that accompanies the launch bears the signature of Neelam Khanresponsible for both the video clip and the cover photo.
