“The Farewell” is the name that the brothers Alejandro and Victor Hernandez They have decided to put on two concerts with which they will close a vital stage in their career. After their self-titled debut album, widely noted by critics – they made the cover of our publication – and the public, Maestro Espada choose the most literal path to present “The Farewell”an end of tour that ends in the Villanos room in Madrid on September 19 and October 3 at the Teatro Romea in Murcia.
After living together at a distance between Barcelona and Madrid, both decided to meet again to make music from an intimate yet universal place, taking as a reference the traditional music of their native garden in Murcia. The result is an imaginary in which synthesizers, distortion, avant-garde, legacy and more personal and reflective spaces coexist. In short, a sound territory that is born from the freedom to take the roots and emotion to a new exponent.
