LA CINC, Apolo’s afternoon, hosts La Casa de Muñecas once a month

LA CINC is the new Apolo room that every Saturday offers a different and diverse program based on DJ sets and different activities that will not necessarily have to do with the room’s usual programming. The afternoon will go from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Thus, for example, this Saturday, October 19, the CINC will host the DJ set by DJ Kosmos & Rho presenting The Muzic Box. Next, on Saturday, October 26, it will be the turn of Aka Inu & Junz, who will bring their Tropical Tardeo to the CINC. The November schedule will be announced soon.

Under the umbrella of CINC also fits La Casa de Muñecas, a trans party. One Thursday a month in the Sala Apolo this event takes place, which has given a lot to talk about in Barcelona in recent times. It is a party that exists with the aim of giving voice, space and visibility to underground trans talents. The Doll’s House is defined as a “space of creation and exploration in which different artistic expressions are reinterpreted.” In their own words, it is a “sex-dissident artistic-musical collective based in Barcelona formed by and for trans women.”

But the fact that La Casa de las Muñecas is a collective based in Barcelona does not mean that it only welcomes local artists. Since its creation in 2022, the Casa de las Muñecas opens its doors to underground artists from both Barcelona and the rest of the world.

The House of the Dolls, which takes place between 8:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., is included in the activities of LA CINC, the aforementioned new Sala Apolo afternoon in its new room inaugurated a few months ago.

The edition of La Casa de las Muñecas on October 17 features some of the most emerging trans underground talents. Specifically, there will be two live showcases, from LaSol and Anastasía Mía, and two DJ sets, from Ciberpony and Manuelac0re. Four artists who together add elements of experimental pop, cyborg aesthetics and drag performance. In this case, the ticket is available at the box office at a cost of 6 euros.
