L Kan celebrate 20 years of ‘Discazo’ this Saturday

Like these days La Casa Azul or next year Hidrogenesse, L Kan also have an anniversary to celebrate. In your case, you will remember the release of one of their main albums, ‘Discazo’, which took place 20 years ago. It will be this Saturday, October 26, at the Sala Changó in Madrid.

‘Discazo’ included some of L Kan’s most emblematic songs, which have been a precedent for such successful projects as Ojete Calor, Ladilla Rusa, Las Bistecs or Samantha Hudson. In fact, the latter has ended up covering ‘Bored of being out’.

Other highlights of that album were the hedonistic ‘Everything for pleasure’, ‘Yo ya no’ and its hilarious changing lyrics from concert to concert – which we are sure will have a new version in 2024 after its “covid” version -, and more songs ” “mature” like ‘La Mancha de Mora’ that would open the door to his next release, ‘We Are Another Thing’ (2007).

The review of ‘Discazo’ could also include rock moments in the concert with ‘Te Preferre Suldo’, a polyglot demonstration (‘My Relationship with France’) or New Order and OMD vibes (‘Chinese Tales’).

The group announces that the show will not lack hits from other eras, for example their two biggest hits: the essential ‘Everything I Don’t’ and the fun and viral ‘Ay Marie Kondo’. Tickets for the concert, which takes place this Saturday, October 26 from 8:30 p.m., are available on this website.
