‘Edge Of Saturday Night’ brings together Kylie Minogue with one of the titans of world electronic music, The Blessed Madonna. You’ll remember The Blessed Madonna for her smash hit with Fred again.., ‘Marea (we’ve lost dancing)’, for her collaborative remix album with Dua Lipa, ‘Club Future Nostalgia’, or for her apotheotic closing set at Sónar a few years ago.
Together, Minogue and Marea Stamper (the real name of The Blessed Madonna) create ‘Edge Of Saturday Night’, a pure dance production with echoes of high-NRG, future disco and progressive house that incorporates house piano keyboards and laser shots. ‘Edge Of Saturday Night’ is a dancefloor-breaker that has already been officially presented in a club in Ibiza. ‘Edge Of Saturday Night’ is currently only officially available on Digtracks, but Kylie’s fans have been quick to upload it to the relevant social networks.
Kylie Minogue’s latest studio album, ‘Tension’, was released almost a year ago, containing the phenomenon single ‘Padam Padam’, winner of the Grammy for Best Pop Dance Recording, the first of its kind, and also the fantastic title single.
