Just as she achieved with her predecessor, Kylie Minogue achieves number 1 on the UK album chart with ‘Tension II’. It is neither more nor less than his tenth number 1 on the British country charts.
‘Tension II’ had secured good data by selling 28,000 copies during its first weekend, and has finally surpassed 35,000 units. Of them, half have been CDs (17,800), followed by vinyl (8,900), downloads (4,100), streaming points (2,300) and tapes (2,200).
The Australian’s first two albums, ‘Kylie’ (1988) and ‘Enjoy Yourself’ (1989), were the artist’s first number 1 hits. These were followed by 1992’s ‘Greatest Hits’, ‘Fever’ (2001), ‘Aphrodite’ (2010), ‘Golden’ (2018), ‘Step Back In Time – The Definitive’ (2019), ‘Disco’ ( 2020) and ‘Tension’ (2023). Now, the sequel to the latter is added to the list.
The Tension Tour 2025, for now, will not pass through Spain. However, as confirmed by Rolling Stone UK, dates in Europe and North and South America will be announced soon.
