Kutxa Fundazioa It launches six cultural cycles by the end of 2025 to give visibility to local talent and contemporary creation.
Music, theater, humor, dramaturgia and scenic proposals for childhood are some of the disciplines that develop the cycles that Kutxa Fundazioa this last part of 2025 is launched. The cycles are She Makes Noise (held in September), OFNI, Gipuzkoako Ahotsak, Bakarrizketak, Natura Elektronikoaand Zir Zir Hara!and the activities are carried out in Kutxa Fundazioa’s scenic programming at the Kutxa Fundazioa Kluba (Tabakalera).
Gipuzkoako Ahotsak It shows that the music made in Gipuzkoa does not stop evolving and is shown as a showcase of emerging, innovative and full character proposals. Pop, punk, electronics, folk and author song alternate in this program that reinforces the local scene and focuses on creative and gender diversity. program:
· October 3 – Labar + Saguxaravant -garde and new looks.
· October 11 – Perlata + AmebaRock and feminist punk from Arrasate and usurbil.
· October 24 – NHIL + XABIER BADIOLAPop-Funk and Basque fusty in fusion.
· November 7 – PERU GALBETE + GORI GORIsensitivity and intimacy against an experimental touch.
· November 21 – Kattalin ET Nenufarrak + Keiaenergy and pop-rock attitude.
· November 28 – Martín de Marte + Zatibicreative electronics with contemporary vision.
OFNI (Oholtzako Phenomenon Nabarmenki Interestrriak) It is a cycle dedicated to the performing proposals that escape full label. Ofni is inspired by the “unidentified floating objects”, and here the theatrical becomes a phenomenon, in ritual, in living matter. Three works that explore the limits of the scenic with physical, symbolic and emotional materials. The cycle is curated by Iñaki Cid Larrea, Ainara Gurrutxaga Juanikorena and Amancay Gaztañaga Sagarzazu. Program:
· October 16 and 17 – Baptism / Iara Solano. A sensory and immersive piece. A lonely and transformative experience in an aquatic environment. A contemporary ritual that invites us to reconnect with the essential. Bring a swimsuit, towel and flip.
· October 18 – Eukalyptus / Jon Ander Urresti. Coral text, scenic poetry and emotional load in a work that combines collective writing with high voltage scenic presence.
· October 19 – By hand / the theater patio. A small format show, where mud and hands tell a story without words. Visual poetry, tenderness and humor in a work that has fallen in love with multiple festivals.
Bakarrizketak It collects the boom of the Basque stand-up with a program that gives voice to comics and comic who are renewing the scene of humor in our language. Each evening will have two 30 -minute performances, creating a close and fresh space to enjoy humor with their own identity. Program:
· October 9 – Maialen Sorzabalbere + Leo Bueriberi. Maialen Sorzabalbere combines her talent as comic, actress and screenwriter to offer monologues full of intelligent and fresh humor. Next to her, Leo Bueriberi brings an irreverent and original look that completes a fun and spark full night.
· November 20 – ASIER K + MIRIARENA. Asier K and Mirai Martiarena UNEN STAND-UP and Bertso to create a unique show that mixes traditional Basque humor with contemporary language. Mirai brings a powerful and close feminine voice that connects directly to the public. Asier K, a multifaceted artist, seeks laughter from humility.
· December 11 – Julen Portillo + Maria Blanco.Julen Portillo offers monologues loaded with personal reflections and everyday humor, while Maria Blanco, with decades of experience, brings a fresh and close style, consolidating a night of laughs and good stories.
New talents in jazz music Bet on the younger and innovative local jazz, presenting emerging artists who are renewing the genre with freshness, technique and personal proposals. Kutxa Fundazioa becomes a platform for a new generation of musicians who drink jazz, but take it to new horizons, with influences from soul, free improvisation and urban music. Program:
· October 25 – Blossom Duo. Formed by Amaia Lanaspa, Voz, and Noemí Rodríguez, piano, the duo mixes tradition and modernity.
· October 31 – Torrija’s Quartet. Alejandra Bartolomé, Voz, Cristina Pascual, Electric Bass, Iker Toribio, Guitar and Ager Alzola, drums, offer us from the most classic jazz to more modern songs, including own songs.
· November 1 – Iñar tailor trio. The trio, composed of Iñar Sastre, piano, Beltrán del Alamo, bass, and Mikel Urretagoiena, drums, displays a voice of its own, fresh and full of nuances.
· November 8 – Mané. Project formed by eight musicians who share love for jazz and Cuban culture.
Zir Zir Hara! It is a cycle of performing arts aimed at children and family public, where physical theater, dance and object theater combine to generate surprising, sensory and participatory experiences. Three proposals without text or with accessible language, designed for girls, boys and adults who want to be surprised in a collective. Program:
· October 26 – The fresh / cia. Anna Confetti. Three family characters and a giant chair star in this endearing piece of gestural and clown theater without text, inspired by the grandmothers who “went out to take the fresh.” Everyday scenes loaded with visual humor and scenic poetry.
· November 23 – Copy / Animal Religion. A participatory show where a group of children act without prior trial next to the company. A playful and provocative reflection on the art of imitating, with music, movement and light.
· November 30 – The call of the sea / cia. Chache-Fal. A contemporary odyssey for a corkscrew and three actors. Object Theater inspired by Homer and led by Iric de Sarria and Nancy Rusek, with the poetic imprint of the Philippe Genty universe.
Beyond these cycles, the Kutxa Fundazioa Kluba scenario will host three essential concerts that reflect the richness and diversity of the current music scene.
· 04/10 – Sofia Gabanna + Kvndy Swing. An evening with two powerful referents of the urban scene. Sofia Gabanna, Hispanic-Argentina root, presents her first sidereal album with lyrical and emotional force. He is accompanied by Kvndy Swing, Bilbao Group with millions of reproductions and hits such as “Italian Pikete”. Rhythm, message and attitude in its purest form.
· 11/29 – The Bengal. From Zaragoza, the Bengala will bring their direct explosive and vibrant rock, with a solid trajectory at festivals and recognitions such as the best direct award in the 2025 Aragonese music awards. A concert with claw and without concessions.
· 13/12 – Sister fury. With a sharp and combative sound, sister Furia arrives to present rumks, her second album. The Madrid band is consolidated as one of the most powerful voices of alternative rock, with an overwhelming live and a message that claims resistance and freedom.
