Kristonfest presents a luxury stoner line-up

The new edition of Kristonfest has managed to bring together three of the great sound groups Stoner and desert rock. In the same night you can see Monster Magnet, Masters Of Reality and United.

Kristonfest will be held in Bilbao (Friday, September 27, Santana, 27) and Madrid (Saturday, September 28, Sala But).

Over the years, Monster Magnet have been one of the great references of stoner rock and psychedelic hard rock, a sound that they have been defending since the early nineties with the help of Dave Wyndorf, their vocalist and guitarist. This is demonstrated by great albums like “Dopes To Infinity” (95) or “Powertrip” (98), although they have not stopped publishing since they debuted with “Spine Of God” in 1991.

Something similar could be said about Masters Of Realitythe band led by the singer, guitarist and producer Chris Gossone of the essential names of the desert rock and responsible for work Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age and many others. Albums like “Masters Of Reality” (88) and “Sunrise On The Sufferbus” (92) are classics of their genre.

And what to say about United? This is the band led by John Garciawho was a vocalist of the references Kyuss and also in charge of other projects such as Brother and Just Burn.
