King’s wool sings about his monthly listeners and Morgan Wallen in ’57 .5 ‘

Lana del Rey has presented a new song from his next album, previously called both ‘Lasso’ and The Right Person Will Stay ‘, at the Stagecoach Festival in California. Following the Country and American line of the singles, ‘Henry, Come on’ and ‘Bluebird’, ’57 .5 ‘is postulated as the most self -referential song of Lana del Rey.

The artist reflects on fame (“still a commercial flight / do you need an autograph? Fuck, nothing happens”), Spotify and even her public perception, admitting that although she hates “everyone,” lately “it feels like they all knead me”: “It feels like sugar / sprinkled on the same wound that they cut deeply,” says the king.

The chorus is dedicated to its 57.5 million monthly listeners (right now it has almost 62 million): “I don’t have a man but perhaps one of them is a fan of mine / in those 57.5 million listeners in Spotify,” Sings Lana.

The part that has most attracted the attention of the subject, however, is that in which he admits to “kiss Morgan Wallen”: “I think kissing me got up / if you want my secret of success / I suggest you do not go from Quads with him when you are in the west.” Of course, he also clarifies that it is “the last time” that sings these lines.
