Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee have a son

Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee are parents. They have revealed it on their social networks with a photo of the artist and the baby in her arms, along with a text on Morby’s Substack. Fans are already calling him the “coolest baby.”

One of the surprises of the joint tour of Katie Crutchfield, the real name of the author of ‘Tigers Blood’, and MJ Lenderman that began last April was the artist’s pregnancy. Now, Kevin Morby tells the story of how his son came into the world: “I returned from my European tour just in time for our precious baby to break down the door two weeks early.”

He details that he arrived home only “eight hours before Katie’s water broke”: “I like to think that the little one was waiting for me,” he commented. Morby has also announced that he would not be able to attend Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner’s Eaux Claires festival. His hole has been replaced by a certain Bon.
