Kendrick Lamar, to the Super Bowl 2025

Kendrick Lamar has been confirmed to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. The biggest sporting event in the United States takes place on February 9, 2025 in New Orleans, and Lamar will be the artist in charge of livening up the break.

In a statement, Lamar commented on his confirmation: “Rap music remains the most impactful music to date, and I will be there to remind the world why. They have chosen the right person.”

Kendrick Lamar’s music is known for its political component, and his Super Bowl halftime performance is sure to be full of messages. By February 9, the United States will have a new president, Democrat or Republican.

The world will remember that Lamar already performed at a Super Bowl halftime show in 2022, although he did so alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. At the 59th edition of the Super Bowl, Lamar is – for now – the only confirmed headliner.

The news of Kendrick’s appearance at the Super Bowl Half-Time Show comes at a very opportune time for the rapper, who is currently enjoying the biggest commercial success of his career thanks to his take on Drake, ‘Not Like Us.’
