Months before the Coachella 2025 lineup is announced, which is usually revealed at the beginning of the year, two names that will NOT appear at the Californian festival are made public: Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna. Both have declined Coachella’s offer to headline the festival, Vulture reports.
It’s no surprise that neither Kendrick nor Rihanna will be participating in Coachella. For one thing, Kendrick just booked the Super Bowl halftime show and, according to Vulture, he plans to announce a stadium tour after the show. For her part, Rihanna continues to retire from the music industry developing her different businesses. His performance in the 2023 Super Bowl was exceptional.
However, Vulture reports that a guaranteed confirmation at Coachella 2025 is that of Fred again and, citing the HITS Daily Double portal, assures that both Post Malone and Morgan Wallen are on the table to headline the festival. There is also speculation about the presence of Travis Scott and Lil Wayne.
As you may remember, Kendrick and Rihanna were joined in music by the single ‘LOYALTY.’, taken from Lamar’s 2017 album ‘DAMN.’.
In 2023, the Coachella lineup drew attention for its pop and Latin line, with Lana Del Rey, No Doubt, Peso Pluma and Bizarrap among the confirmed names. Among the most talked about moments, Blur facing its most difficult audience.
