Kendrick calls Drake a "pedophile" in 'Not Like Us'

Kendrick, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Sabrina… nominated for the 2026 Grammys

The Grammys return with Kendrick Lamar as the most nominated artist of 2026, with 9 nominations. Among these, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year thanks to ‘GNX’ and his successful collaboration with SZA, ‘luther’. The Californian rapper is followed by Lady Gaga, with 7 (the same as Jack Antonoff and Cirkut), Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter, with 6 each. SZA, Turnstile and Tyler, the Creator finish the nomination round with 5 each.

Last year, Lamar took home every category in which ‘Not Like Us’ was nominated. This year, for the Grammys’ top category, he’s up against Bad Bunny, Clipse, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Leon Thomas (also nominated for Best New Artist), Sabrina Carpenter and Tyler, the Creator. Pop is still important, but this year hip hop and urban music are gaining ground.

In the Recording and Song of the Year categories we find Billie Eilish and her ‘Wildflower’, eligible as it was released as a single this year. Something similar happens with ‘Anxiety’ by Doechii, which has been available since 2019 on YouTube, but it was this year when it received a formal release.

Turnstile has been one of the surprises of the year, being nominated in the rock, metal and alternative music categories. All derived from their latest album, ‘NEVER ENOUGH’. In the field of alternative music it is also surprising to see ‘Don’t Tap The Glass’. On the other hand, ‘CHROMAKOPIA’ is also nominated for Album of the Year.

Among the artists nominated for a Grammy for the first time are Dijon, who could take home the Producer of the Year and Album of the Year statuettes (for his contributions to Justin Bieber’s ‘SWAG’), Addison Rae, PinkPantheress and Lola Young. Finally, the Grammys present the new category of Best Album Cover, in which Bad Bunny, Djo, Perfume Genius, Tyler, the Creator and Wet Leg have entered.

The 68th Grammy Awards ceremony will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles next Sunday, February 1. You can find the complete list of nominees on the official Grammy website.
