Culture & Business Pride is a festival focused on the visibility of the LGTBIQ+ community that will celebrate its seventh edition this coming December. Between September 3 and 7, it will take place for the first time in parallel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria –main venue– and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. More names will be announced shortly, but for now we can already know that in this edition we will be able to see Keane and Mikawho will review their careers while joining this event, the international epicentre of human rights, culture and inclusion, starring in two exclusive concerts in Spain that fall into the category of the Concerts for Human Rights festival.
British band Keane will perform as part of their twentieth anniversary tour of their classic debut “Hopes And Fears”while the Lebanese Mika will be presenting his latest album to date, “Que ta tête fleurisse toujours” (23).
Tickets for both concerts are now on sale at this link.
Under the slogan “Another way of Loving, another way of Pride”, the festival is distinguished by offering an alternative proposal to the traditional Pride celebrations. And this proposal encompasses music, culture, entertainment and dissemination, with spaces for cinema, technology, business, science and art. The festival has the support of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, through Turismo de Gran Canaria, the Department of Culture of the Las Palmas City Council, Promotur Turismo, which depends on the Government of the Canary Islands, and the Department of Equality of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council.
