Katy Perry surfs the public inside a bottle in Santiago

Katy Perry offered her long-awaited concert tonight at the O Son do Camiño festival in Santiago de Compostela, the one about which Los 40 Principales published a premonitory chronicle two days before it happened. The portal humorously alludes to what happened today in its chronicle, writing that Katy Perry was going to get on that stage and give a hilarious concert… “and we knew that and we signed it before it happened.”

The repertoire included, of course, ‘I Kissed a Girl’, which produced a viral moment when Perry sang this song inside a giant plastic bottle, which he took advantage of to surf among his Galician audience. An idea reminiscent of what was seen at a recent La La Love You concert and popularized by the Flaming Lips decades ago.

Perry’s concert in Santiago has also left the commented image of the artist holding the flag of Galicia, and musically the repertoire has included the live premiere of the new single ‘Watch it Burn’, available next Friday.
