Just hours before the release of Katy Perry’s new single ‘Woman’s World’, which was controversial before it even began due to both its lyrics and the teaser video, Katy Perry has given details of her new album. She describes it as a “celebratory dance pop” album.
It’s called ‘143’, which is code for “I love you” from the early 20th century, and it’ll be with us in a couple of months, on September 20th. We’re betting that we’ll know at least one more single before then.
Among them could be some of the songs he has teased via a live on social media. We already know of a track with 21 Savage called ‘Gimme Gimme’, with a reggae pop tone. Another with Doechii called ‘I’m His He’s Mine’, with a prominent sample of Crystal Waters’ ‘Gypsy Woman’. And there is also another track called ‘Nirvana’, with more of a 90s dance vibe. The fragments, which are circulating on social media, point to better things than ‘Woman’s World’, so far.
