“Little Shrew (Snowflake)” is an animated short that the artist Kate Bush –fundamental influence of a long list of artists such as Florence + The Machine or Chappell Roan– has written and directed. It accompanies the radio edit of his song “Snowflake”, one of the pieces of “50 Words For Snow”his 2011 album.

The short film lasts about four minutes and follows a little shrew searching and waiting in a city that has been devastated by a bombing. You can see all the short film creation process in this same linkin which Kate Bush herself tells about the project. A project that was born from the beginning of the war in Ukraine with a totally anti-war spirit. Bush’s intention is to show how children trapped in wars can suffer.

On the artist’s website she tells us the entire work process in addition to showing many of the original sketches of the project.
