Kase.O has donated to the association From Gaza to the World income derived from his performances at festivals with pro-Israel funds
A few months ago, Kase.O was involved in controversy after its presence was confirmed on festival posters that had been discovered to have the participation of pro-Israel investment funds. The news came shortly before starting his tour for his 33rd anniversary in music, which ended this Saturday at the pavilion Prince Philip of Zaragoza. At the time, the rapper explained to his followers that he had decided not to break the contract so as not to pay the penalty and give money precisely to those funds.
Now, the Aragonese MC has starred in a live show on his social networks. In it, he explained that he will donate the proceeds to the From Gaza to the World association: “Last summer I decided to perform at two festivals that had a percentage of financing from Zionist funds. Faced with the crossroads of canceling the concerts and assuming an economic sanction that would have financed these funds, I made the decision to perform and donate my salary so that this money would reach some families in Loop affected by the genocide and the indiscriminate destruction of homes, schools, hospitals, etc…”.
The artist explained that this donation will go directly to more than 70 Gazan families, with whom he has already been in direct contact through the organization. These are people who have lost family members and all their belongings, leaving them homeless. “Currently, they are at the mercy of the cold, the rain and the bombs,” he added. This money will help obtain tents, food, medicine and warm clothing.
