Kasba brings together the Catalan punk scene in “Catalunya explodes”

Kasba Music presents a new album full of punk for the record company's 20th anniversary vinyl collection, “Catalonia explodes”.

On this new vinyl, Kasba Music has included eight of the main current punk bands in Catalan. The title evokes the first legendary album by the Barcelona label Tralla Records entitled “Barcelona Explota”. Unlike the label's previous compilations, this one does not look back and presents a selection with a lot of vision for the future.

They open the disk Les Buch with their melodic and infectious pop-punk, followed by Ratpenat with its mix of punk, metal and rock. Below we find the participation of Againsters and Batecwith perhaps the most classic sounds of the compilation. Brot Bord and Dallas provide the most Yankee hardcore style of the album while Nafra They go for a more European sound. Finally, the unclassifiable ones close the compilation Ratpanades.

The vinyl cover, the work of Tòfol Cruzuses the classic typography of the legendary English band Crass and references to Bad Brains. The compilation album is now available in vinyl format in Kasba Music's twentieth anniversary collection and also serves as a tribute to the historic “Barcelona explodes”published decades ago by Tralla Records.
