Karol G visits Rosalía’s confessional: “What a relief to meet you”

If there was ever beef between Rosalía and Karol G, it is officially over. In the last concert of the LUX Tour, the Catalan artist presented “the one and only” Karol G to accompany her in the confessional, where she told the story of the ex who did not like to celebrate his birthdays with her.

Back in 2024, it was rumored that there could be some kind of feud between Karol G and Rosalía following the release of ‘If I Had Met You Before’ and its resemblance to ‘Despechá’. In fact, JENESAISPOP even published an article comparing the similarities between both songs. Last night, at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, everything was settled.

“What a relief to meet you,” says Karol after hugging Rosalía. “We already knew each other once, saying hello and goodbye very quickly, but now it feels like another level of friendship,” responded the Spanish artist. The entire interaction in the confessional was carried out in Spanish: “I was in a relationship where that person didn’t like to celebrate their birthday with me,” Karol confessed.

After describing how she waited for “the excuse for next year” each time and asking “what is the prayer I have to say,” Rosalía tries to find a valid reason: “I know there are people who don’t like birthdays, but I would still want to be with you,” she declared. Karol was clear: “It was not the case, he liked his birthdays.”

Finally, she told the worst part of the story, in which she was left in an airport waiting room: «On the last birthday we were going on a trip, we were already with our suitcases at the airport because we were going to celebrate the birthday in another part of the world. Have you ever been left in the airport waiting room? “La Bichota said. Rosalía ended up encouraging her in her own way: “If on the third birthday she doesn’t want to celebrate and on the fourth birthday she leaves me in the waiting room, I tell her to come, see you later and never again.”
