Karmento is the artist who, this year, will have the pleasure of touring with the band made up of school students LIPA . After performing in Liverpool (United Kingdom), they will offer four shows together in our territory.
Karmento is the artist who, this coming June, will be touring with the band LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts)university school founded by Paul McCartney in 1995. This tour is once again part of the exchange between the Society of Artists (AIE) and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), active since 1996 through the Musical Studies Scholarship program and the AIEnRUTa Artists program. Artists such as Coque Malla, Zahara, Javier Rubial, Víctor Coyote, Julián Maeso, Maika Makovski, Jacobo Serra, Soledad Vélez, Tulsa, Depedro either Amparo Sanchez.
Between June 1 and 7, Carmen Toledo, better known artistically as Karmento, will give a series of master classes to a group of students and they will rehearse a repertoire with which they will give a concert in Liverpool during the process and, once the classes are over, four in Spain.
Karmento’s tour with the band LIPA will pass through Liverpool (June 5, LIPA Canteen), Madrid (June 17, Café Berlin), León (June 18, Teatro San Francisco), San Vicente do Mar (June 19, El Náutico) and Viveiro (June 20, La Conservera).

Karmento is originally from the Serranía de Albacete. He began his artistic journey in 2012, when he moved to live on the island of Malta. His interaction on this Mediterranean island with musicians from various countries results in a first album that he titled “Removals”. With the following, “This becoming” (20) completes a tour of more than one hundred and thirty concerts. In 2023 he reaches the final of the Benidorm Fest with the song “I want and duel”. The following year, his album, “The mountain” (24), sneaks into all the lists of the best of the year for magazines such as Mondosonoro, Rockdelux, Efe Eme or Jenesaispop. It also received the Academy of Music Award for Best Folk Album, the +Músicas Awards for Best World Music and Fusion Recording and Best Video Clip, in addition to receiving four nominations at the MIN Awards.
