Karla Sofía Gascón: “I am less than Vox than Echenique”

Karla Sofía Gascón has presented her autobiography today in Madrid, ‘what remains of me’, an expanded version of a book she already published in Mexico years ago and now collects her latest experiences. Almuzara -finally not two mustaches- edits the book, which is put on sale on March 25.

Sofia Gascón has commented on her alleged cancellation, as ElDiario.es collects, ensuring “subject to a massacre in social networks” following the discovery of his old tweets. However, Alcobendas has clarified that, “although I have hurt and suffered, I would always repeat what happens to me in my life because if not, it would not be me.”

Sofia Gascón has justified the publication of her tweets – although not its content – explaining that “all I have done has been to comment news” and that that does not mean that it is “whitling Nazism or saying that I am in favor of Hitler.” In addition, he pointed out that no one in his professional environment recommended to review his old tweets or erase them by caution.

The content of these messages – charged with racism and xenophobia – has come to the fore and Karla Sofía Gascón has denied commuing with the ideas of the extreme right. “I am less racist than Gandhi and less than Echenique” has been his great headline. In addition, the actress has questioned that no one draws her tweets “against the extreme right, the church or the transition.”

In terms of religions, Karla Sofía Gascón has declared a “enormous respect” for Muslim people, but has pointed out that it does not approve “fanaticism, terrorism and barbarities that are committed in names of gods or religions”, paraphrasing the words he used in one of the communications he published in response to the controversy.

Sofia Gascón, who practices a branch of Buddhism, has claimed love and compassion: «Hate cannot end more hate, which is what we are getting used to. When someone hurts us, we want to do more, and that is very sad. ”His words resemble those that C. Tangana pronounced collecting the Goya and that seemed – indirectly – directed to it.
