Kali Uchis finally announces her album ‘Orquídeas’

Kali Uchis had promised to release two albums this year: one in English and the other in Spanish. The one that was in English was called ‘Red Moon in Venus’ and you already know him because he has left a small hit called ‘I Wish You Roses’ and a powerful viral titled ‘Moonlight’.

Perhaps due to the reach of the latter, above 400 million streaming, her album in Spanish has been delayed a little, but at least today the artist has set a date for it. It will be called ‘Orquídeas’ and it will be one of the first albums that 2024 will bring us. It will be released on January 12.

Kali Uchis has explained that the orchid is the national flower of Colombia and that there are more types of this flower there than anywhere else on Earth. «I have always been intrigued and attracted to this flower. This album is inspired by the timeless, haunting, mystical, striking, elegant and sensual charm of the orchid. With this vast scope of fresh energy, I wish to redefine the way we look at Latinas in music.”
