Kae Tempest visits Spain to present her new album, ‘Self Titled’, which is put on sale on July 4. Tempest will perform on October 16 in Bilbao (Kafe Antzokia) and 19 in Madrid (La Riviera). Tickets for these two concerts will go on sale on Friday, May 16 at 11 am. An exclusive presale will be launched on Wednesday, May 14 at 11 am, which will be in force until the general sale begins. To participate in that presale you have to register here before Wednesday, May 14 at 11 am. Jacob Alon will be the opening in both concerts.
The announcement of this tour has almost coincided with the launch of the second single of the album. This is ‘Know Yourself’, who saw the light a week ago. The first was ‘Statue in the Square’, which came out in mid -March.
‘Self Titled’ is a “Kae Tempest love letter to her youth” and “a conversation over time molded by the people, places and experiences that have crossed for their life.” Neil Tennant (from Pet Shop Boys), Young Fathers, Connie Constance and Tawiah collaborate in this album of twelve songs that “reflect their most intimate and revealing project, with new unexpected ideas and directions.”
