Kacey Musgraves prepares for new music

Although it may seem like it, Taylor Swift wasn’t the only artist to announce new music last night. Apart from ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, another imminent album starred in one of the Grammys’ commercial breaks: Kacey Musgraves’ sixth.

The country artist, who took home the gramophone for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Zach Bryan ‘I Remember Everything’, announced her next album after awarding the Grammy for Best Country Album to Lainey Wilson. The truth is that Kacey Musgraves has not released an album of hers since her ‘star-crossed’ in 2021.

The advertising video shows the author of ‘Golden Hour’ (Grammy Album of the Year in 2019) on a horse and strolling through the countryside while an unreleased song plays in the background. «I found a deeper well. My Saturn has returned,” Musgraves writes cryptically and without giving more information on Twitter and YouTube.

With hardly any more information about her next album, Kacey Musgraves has opened the pre-sale of the album on her official website. There is no title, there is no cover, there is no tracklist and there is no publication date, but it is already possible to reserve her next project in various formats. What is known for sure is that it will be released in 2024.
