Kabaka Pyramid’s reggae energy returns to the peninsula

Jamaican reggae artist Kabaka Pyramid will play on Barcelona (October 31) and Bilbao (November 1) within the European tour in which he is currently immersed.

Winner of the Grammy in the category for best reggae album in 2023, Kabaka He practices a musical style that combines energy and strength with the melody of reggae and the more revolutionary lyrics of hip hop.

Kabaka –whose real name is Keron Salmon– is one of the pillars of the reggae revival movement and has albums such as “The Kalling” (22) produced by his mentor Damian “Jr Gong” Marleyeither “Lead The Way EP” (13). In his repertoire he has great emblematic songs like “Free From Chains” and “Warrior”. He recognizes himself as influenced by Peter Tosh or Bob Marley as he is by Wu-Tang Clan.

The Jamaican artist has already visited our country before, for example, to perform at the Rototom Sunsplash. On this tour he has, as usual, the support of his band The Bebble Rockers. We can see him in Barcelona (Thursday, October 31, Sala Apolo) and Bilbao (Friday, November 1, Kafe Antzokia). Barcelona tickets are on sale at this link. The Bilbao entries in this other.
