Already recomposed of the success of ‘Back to 74’, Jungle return to the fray with a new album called ‘Sunshine’ that can be heard from August 14 and that the British trio composed of J Lloyd, Tom McFarland and Lydia Kitto will present in Spain. The dates of the ‘Sunshine’ tour in our country are October 26 at the Movistar Arena in Madrid and October 28 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
Until the date arrives when we can hear the full album, we can enjoy a first single called ‘Carry On’, the Song of the Day. It is a song with a bossa and acoustic feel, perfect for the beginning of spring. The British trio moves away from their most euphoric version on this song, embracing their vintage side with an extremely catchy and nostalgic melody.
Although the music sounds like a dream, ‘Carry On’ is one of those cases in which the lyrics awaken different feelings to the instrumental accompaniment. In this one, Kitto sings about his broken heart, beginning the song with a promise to “not get involved in love anymore”: “I don’t want to talk about all the things you’ve said and done / All you do is break my heart,” he sings in the verses. In the chorus, a harsh statement: “No one has ever made me feel this helpless.”
Regarding the Jungle tour, fans who pre-order the album in the official Jungle store will have access to pre-sale tickets for the tour. The pre-sale opened at 9:00 a.m. (local time) on Thursday, March 26 and will remain open until tickets go on general sale starting at 10:00 a.m. (local time) this Friday, March 27. In both cases, tickets will be available through the Jungle website.
