Julio de la Rosa returns to pop rock with “Perorata”

The musician and soundtrack composer July of the Rose He returns to the world of pop rock where he was born with “Perorata”, a song that appears after his fifth Goya nomination.

The new single by the Andalusian musician, titled “Perorata” and published by Ernie Records, comes after the recent recognition of the Spanish Film Academy and as the first preview of what will be his next album.

Julio de la Rosa, former leader of Bubble Man and musician with an interesting solo career, has reached his best level as a soundtrack composer (“The Minimum Island”with which he won his first Goya, “The man of a thousand faces”, “Model 77”…). Right now he is nominated for the 2026 Goya Awards for Best Original Music for his work on the film “The Tigers” of Alberto Rodríguez Librero.

But let’s go back to “Perorata”, the song talks about the balance between our success, stability and happiness. The song serves as a preview of what will be his new solo work, a work that will be released by the Galician label Ernie Records.
