The American Julia Holter will return to our country, this time to present the songs from what is his latest work to date, “Something In The Room She Moves” (Domino, 24), published just a few months ago.
Julia Holter began to catch us with what was her first full-length, “Tragedy” (11), to continue growing since then, maintaining at all times its hallmarks, between indie pop and experimental pop, taking steps forward and often taking unpredictable paths.
Aside from his recent, “Something In The Room She Moves”in recent years Holter has been composing music for a Chorus Of Opera North commission (scoring the 1928 film “The Passion of Joan of Arc”which she and a choir performed live as it screened in 2022 at London's Barbican Centre), as well as writing music for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the television show “Mashed potatoes” (19), for movies “Sacrifice of legend” (16) and “Never, almost never, sometimes, always” (20) and for the documentary “In My Own Time: A Portrait Of Karen Dalton” (twenty).
Next November, Holter's tour will take her to the cities of Donostia (November 19, Teatro Principal), Madrid (November 2, Shoko; within the Banco Mediolanum Festival Mil.lenni), Barcelona (November 21, La (2) de Apolo; also within the Banco Mediolanum Festival Mil.lenni) and Valencia ( November 22, La Rambleta). Tickets are now on sale and you can get them by clicking on each of the cities.
