Judeline wants your ‘Besito’ in her seductive fluorine carioca

After releasing the EP ‘Verano Saudade’ and collaborating with everything Christ, from Amaia to Nine Inch Nails, Judeline doesn’t stop. Her recent single ‘pequeñita’ has once again been a little gem, the premiere of her song for ‘La Bola Negra’ is imminent and now the Cádiz native launches a new pill in the form of a single that is once again hypnotic and catchy at the same time.

‘Besito’, today’s Song Of The Day, is the typical current production that does not skimp on layers. The backbone of the song is based on a Carioca funk rhythm, a genre that Judeline already explored in ‘Canijo’, but the production incorporates surprises. For starters, the intro uses fluorescent, trance-like synth bursts, albeit decontextualized. Then, as the song progresses, guitars and other electronic elements are incorporated.

Judeline is always at the center of the production, showing off her distinctive whispered voice, to tell us a story halfway between reality and a dream, framed in a romantic-sexual encounter, but told through her usual fantastic metaphors, as the rhyme reveals: “my mouth looks like glitter / tonight I’m going to be your dancer.”

The phrase “take me to a place near the sea” evokes his single ‘Zahara’, while the passage “touch my body like a portal, enter inside because there is a lot you can see” is directly an invitation to the body. The atmosphere is dreamy (“give me five minutes to wake up”) and romantic openness: “I want to please you, and be your place to return,” the artist rhymes, in another exquisite song.
