Judeline leaves the FIB for the binding of the festival with KKR

The Andalusian singer JUDELINE He has decided to cancel his performance at the FIB (Benicàssim International Festival), which will be held among the July 17 and 19. The reason is that he refuses to participate in an event that is related to the KKR Investment Fund.

The relationship between the KKR Investment Fund – related to the Israeli offensive in Gaza and one of the shareholder funds of The Music Republic promoter, organizer of the festival – and various Spanish festivals continues to bring tail. On this occasion it is the Andalusian singer Judeline who, declaring himself “against the genocide that is being carried out in Gaza”, has decided to cancel his performance at the FIB, an event in which artists will act as artists like Thirty Seconds to Mars, Ca7riel & Paco Amoros And many others.

It is a more case that adds to the cancellations suffered by festivals such as Sónar, which saw how a long list of artists fell from their poster. According to the newspaper El País, Judeline has declared the following in his social networks: “I position myself against the genocide and favor of the rights of Palestine today and always (…) most of what we consume has consequences for a part of the population, even if we are not aware of it; however, in this case, the relationship is direct and evident.”
